Preliminary analysis of the plant and processes. Before installing an advanced control system, we conducted an in-depth study of the wastewater treatment plant and the efficiency of the process.
Study of the biological process. The heart of the plant is the biological reactor and that is where our attention is focused, regardless of the technology installed (FA, SBR, MBR, MBBR, etc.). We analyzed the plant design and verified the functionality of the process.
Corrective measures. We improved the plant’s performance by applying emerging and disruptive technologies in the field of biological wastewater treatment. We optimize the management and training of technical and operational staff in all areas (Quality, Engineering and Production) to ensure efficient operation and prevent risks in the purification process.
Intelligent technology systems for dynamic and adaptable process control
System requirements. The wastewater treatment plant must have a centralized control system in a PLC. It doesn’t matter the brand or user interface (HMI, SCADA) because Neptuno connects to any device on the market.
Nept-Start plant installation. It consists of a control panel equipped with sensors. The control panel monitors the process and enables communication between the existing PLC in the wastewater treatment plant and the cloud.
Nept Cloud Development: Based on the data received, Neptune prepares in real time the work report of the main elements of the desalination plant, commanding the tasks and working times of each one.
Aerobic granular hybrid sludge (AGS hybrid systems)
AGS (Aerobic Granular Sludge) hybrid systems combine biomass in the form of compact granules with conventional flocs in the same reactor, creating an efficient ecosystem where different microbial communities work in a coordinated manner. This structure allows wastewater to be treated in less space and with greater control of biological processes, integrating the removal of organic matter, nutrients and solids in a single stage.
